And, I was recently awarded the National Association of REALTORS®’ (NAR’s) Green Designation, the only green real estate professional designation recognized by NAR. I achieved this prestigious designation after completing course work in understanding what makes a property green, helping clients evaluate the cost/benefits of green building features and practices, distinguishing between industry rating and classification systems, listing and marketing green homes and buildings, discussing the financial grants and incentives available to homeowners, and helping consumers see a property’s green potential.

I got my start in real estate as a property manager/landlord and owner of investment properties. With several years experience under my belt on the consumer side of real estate, I decided to take the plunge and became a licensed real estate agent in 2005. After beginning my professional career at another local company, I made the move to one of the top agencies in Hampshire & Franklin counties. I have enjoyed working at Coldwell Banker Upton-Massamont Realtors since February 2007 and in less than a year closed over a million dollars in sales. CBUM is locally owned, with offices in Northampton, South Deerfield and Shelburne Falls. My company’s affiliation with Coldwell Banker gives our customers unsurpassed national visibility.

In addition to my experience in real estate, I have a strong connection to the music and arts community as a freelance flutist, composer, teacher and member of a local dance company. For 17 years, I managed a thriving flute studio, teaching students from age 5 to 75. I have enjoyed being a part of the Northampton community since graduating from Westfield State College in 1991. And having grown up in Springfield, the ‘city of homes‘, I am familiar with life in the beautiful Pioneer Valley.
